One school's integrated approach to Project Based Learning: *connecting Web 2.0 tools with self-guided tutorials

PRESENTER INFORMATION


Amanda Venturella teaches middle grades language arts and social studies in Buncombe County. She and Cindy Sturdivant collaborated to create PBLHub as part of their work implementing the IMPACT model. Amanda is nationally board certified and recently completed a masters degree in Instructional Systems Technology at UNC-Charlotte.

Cindy Sturdivant is a national board certified teacher librarian for Buncombe County Schools. In implementing the IMPACT model, she has facilitated professional development and collaboration models to transform instruction in the middle school. Cindy holds a masters degree in Library Science from UNC.
